Job Title: Jr/Sr High School At-Risk Coordinator
Reports to: Principal
Employment Status: 10-Month Contract
Job Summary:
The At-Risk Coordinator supports Jr/Sr high school students who are identified as at risk of academic failure, dropping out, or other challenges that impact their educational success. the coordinator develops, implements, and monitors individualized support plans, collaborates with school staff, families, and community partners, and ensures students have access to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional resources they need to succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee intervention plans tailored to students' academic, behavioral, attendance, or social-emotional needs.
- Coordinate services with school counselors, teachers, social workers, administrators, and outside agencies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed.
- Facilitate parent/guardian communication and involvement in intervention planning.
- Track and report data on student progress, intervention effectiveness, and program success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with Jr/Sr high school students, particularly in at-risk populations.
- Knowledge of academic and behavioral, trauma-informed practices, and student support systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
